Samsung.com: Up to 12 Months 0% Installment

This promotional program from PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Bank Danamon), in collaboration with merchant partner Samsung.com, entitles holders of all Danamon Credit Cards with the JCB, Visa, Mastercard or American Express logo and Charge Cards (Cardholder) to avail of 0% installment based on the Program General Terms and Conditions (Program).

The Cardholder hereby agrees and binds himself/herself to all the following provisions of the Program General Terms and Conditions.

The Program is valid from 1 July 2022 until 31 December 2024 (Program Period).

  1. The Program applies to holders of Bank Danamon Credit Cards bearing the Visa, Mastercard, JCB or American Express logo and Danamon Charge Cards, but excludes corporate type of Credit Cards and Charge Cards (Cards).
  2. The 0% (zero percent) installment program is valid for tenors of 3 (three), 6 (six) and 12 (twelve) months with a minimum transaction specifically at samsung.com website worth IDR 1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah).
  3. Transactions that can be converted into instalments refer to retail purchases in all categories at samsung.com. 
  4. The Program applies to either principal or supplementary cards. Requests for changes in installments, however, can only be performed by the principal cardholder.
  5. The conversion process takes a maximum 7 (seven) calendar days after the transaction date.
  6. Cardholder needs to ensure that no other conversion has been submitted via other channels (e.g. SMS, e-mail).   
  7. An administration fee amounting to IDR 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Rupiah) shall be charged for every transaction that is converted into installments. 
  8. Any transaction converted into installments will not be entitled to earn D-Points.
  9. Installments will be billed together with other shopping transactions every month a indicated on the billing statement. Spending Interest Rate will be charged on the installment principal if the Cardholder pays less than the Total New Bill, or pays after the Due Date. The interest forms part of the Minimum Payment.
  10. Bank Danamon has the right to cancel or postpone the application if the holder of the Credit Card fails to meet the Program Terms & Conditions or is deemed unfit. The Cardholder will be informed of any such cancellation or postponement of the application.

Early Payment
  1. Cardholders can perform early or advance payment of installments prior to the end of the installment period.
  2. For requesting early or advance payment, please contact Hello Danamon.
  3. Minimum transaction amounts to IDR 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Rupiah).
  4. For early (advanced) payment, the Cardholder is obliged to fully pay the remaining installments + remaining interest + penalty.
  5. If the Cardholder is in arrears > 2 months consecutively, the Bank can cancel the installment process and charge the remaining installments in full + interest on installments that have not been billed.
  6. For early or advance payment, the Cardholder will be charged a 5% penalty fee.

Miscellaneous
  1. Bank Danamon has the right to terminate the program at any time and change the terms and conditions. In such cases, the Cardholder will be informed prior to the termination of the program and/or changes to the terms and conditions, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  2. Always take the necessary precaution with parties acting on behalf of Bank Danamon. Keep your password, OTP and credit card data (including card number, validity period, CVC, CVV) confidential.
  1. The products, services and/or 0% installment in this Program are entirely the responsibility of samsung.com as the merchant partner, not of Bank Danamon. If there are problems and/or complaints regarding these products, services and/or savings, please contact the samsung.com directly.
  2. All transactions have no indications of money laundering and/or other similar activities that are prohibited under Indonesia’s laws and regulations.
  3. If there are reported indications of fraud, deceit and/or transaction irregularities, Bank Danamon has the right to cancel the transaction or disallow installments to the Cardholder.
  4. The Cardholder agrees that Bank Danamon has the right to cancel his/her participation in this Program, if he/she fails to meet its General Terms and Conditions.
  5. Other terms and conditions related to banking products and/or services, as long as those are not regulated differently in the Program General Terms and Conditions, are declared to remain valid and binding on the Cardholder and shall become an inseparable part of the Program General Terms and Conditions.
  6. The Program General Terms and Conditions form an integral and inseparable part of the General Terms and Conditions for PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk Accounts and Banking Services" and "General Terms and Conditions for Danamon Credit Card Membership". These terms and conditions remain valid as long as those are not regulated otherwise in the Program General Terms and Conditions.
  7. The Cardholder hereby agrees and acknowledges that Bank Danamon has the right to revise/amend/update the Program General Terms and Conditions. Any changes/amendments/updates to the Program General Terms and Conditions will be notified via Bank Danamon’s available communication media. 
  8. In case of changes to the benefits, risks, costs, terms and conditions based on the Program General Terms and Conditions, the Cardholder has the right to submit a written objection to Bank Danamon within 30 (thirty) working days upon notification of the change by Bank Danamon through its available communication media. The Cardholder agrees that Bank Danamon will consider his/her agreement to the changes if he/she fails to submit an objection within that time period. If the Cardholder disagrees with those changes, he/she has the right to cancel participation in the Program by first completing all his/her obligations to Bank Danamon (if any).

  11. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, which is a member of the Deposit Insurance Corporation, is licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority.
  12. These General Terms and Conditions follow the provisions of laws and regulations including those of the Financial Services Authority regulations.
     

    REMINDER
    Beware of fraud. Cardholders must take necessary precautions against fraud committed by unauthorized individuals acting on behalf of Bank Danamon who promise rewards in any form. All forms of fraud or other criminal and deceitful acts committed by other parties/third parties associated with or on behalf of the Program are beyond the authority of Bank Danamon.
