General Description
Sharia Planning Savings Account Opening Service ("Service") is a feature provided by PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk ("Danamon") that allows existing customers to open a Danamon account online through the Social Banking Application ("Application"). The Application, owned by Minasa, operates in exclusive collaboration with Danamon as a platform offering waqf solutions and other financial services that comply with Islamic law.
The account to be opened via this service is also referred to as “TPS” from its Indonesian language acronym (Tabungan Perencanaan Syariah), a planned savings account designed to help customers manage their financial planning for purposes such as Hajj, Umrah, Qurban, children's education, home down payments, and various other needs.
Benefits of Sharia Planning Savings Account
- Convenient account opening—accessible anytime and anywhere.
- Enables customers to plan their savings goals and target amounts based on their financial needs.
- Offers flexible recurring savings options: daily, weekly, or monthly, selected at the time of account opening.
Key Features
- Customers can set recurring deposit amounts according to their needs:
o Daily: Minimum recurring deposit of IDR 5,000
o Weekly: Minimum recurring deposit of IDR 50,000
o Monthly: Minimum recurring deposit of IDR 100,000
- No initial deposit is required to open a TPS Account, and there are no monthly administration fees.
- Funds cannot be withdrawn before the end of the savings period, except by closing the TPS Account at a Danamon branch.
- Once the TPS Account balance reaches the target or the savings period ends, the account will be automatically closed, and funds will be returned to the Customer’s Source Account within one (1) working day.
TPS Account Opening Process Flow
- Customers who already have a Customer Information File (CIF) and an active regular savings account with Danamon must fill in the required data via the Application. Customers should have their savings account number and registered mobile number on hand.
- Danamon will verify the data provided in the Application against the bank’s records.
- If the data matches, Danamon will send an OTP code (8-digit numeric combination) via SMS to the mobile number registered in the bank’s system.
- Customers must enter the OTP code in the Application within 10 minutes. If the code expires, they can request a new OTP by following the on-screen instructions.
- If the OTP is correct, the TPS Account will be automatically opened, and the customer will receive a notification via email with their TPS Account number.
- Upon successful account opening, scheduled automatic transfers from the Customer’s Source Account to the TPS Account will begin as per the selected frequency and amount. Customers will receive notifications about successful or failed transactions through the Application.

Profit Sharing Calculation Simulation
Carried out by the system and credited to the TPS Account
Profit Share Calculation
|
Profit sharing calculation formula:
Profit Sharing =
|
Average Account Balance
Average Balance of Products
|
|
x Revenue Allocation x Nisbah
|
|
So, the profit sharing is described as follows:
Average Sharia Planning Savings Balance: 200,000,000
Average balance of Sharia Planning Savings products: 50,000,000,000
Revenue allocation: 400,000,000
Ratio Percentage: 2.5%
Profit Share (Gross):
200,000,000
50,000,000,000
|
|
x 400,000,000 x 2.5% = 40,000/month
|
|
