Member of the advisory board member of the King Abdulaziz International Center for Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) (2015 - present), Founder and Chairman of the Center for Dialogue and Cooperation among Civilizations (2007 – present), Member of the Group for Strategic Vision Russia - Islamic World (2006 - present), Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue and Cooperation (2017 - 2018), Chairman of MUI Advisory Council (2015 - 2020), Member of the Leadership Council of the United Nation Sustainable Development Solutions Network (2015 – 2020), Co-President World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP) (2006 - 2020), Chairman of the World Peace Forum (WPF) (2006 - 2020), General Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah (2005 - 2015) and President of the Asian Conference on Religions for Peace (ACRP) (2004 – 2021).
