Jakarta, 8 November 2024 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) as a Bank with extensive local and global network
supported by its parent group MUFG, remains committed to support the growth of its clients' businesses.
By collaborating with its group members; Adira Finance, Zurich Asuransi Indonesia, Home Credit Indonesia, and Mandala Finance; Danamon
is committed to offer comprehensive and tailored financial solutions through a wide range of savings, loan, financing, and funding products,
along with innovative digital-based services designed to streamline transactions and boost business efficiency.
In addition to the products and services above, a unique offering from Danamon is its Business Matching service. This service connects
Danamon’s clients with companies who can address their specific needs and providing solutions to clients’ business challenges. By leveraging
MUFG’s vast network, Business Matching enables clients to expand their growth opportunities, explore new partnerships, and navigate their
unique business issues more effectively. This offer reinforces Danamon’s commitment to foster a supportive ecosystem for client success,
bringing together financial strength and strategic connections for long-term growth.
Danamon, in partnership with the Tokyo SME Support Center, supported by MUFG and MU Research and Consulting Indonesia (MURCI), once again
host Business Matching Fair 2024, which is an annual event designed to connect the bank’s invited clients with specialized solution providers
who can address their specific needs and challenges.
This year’s Business Matching, which was held on Thursday, 7 November 2024, consists of a comprehensive series of three key events: a
seminar, Business Matching Meetings, and a Networking Lunch, held in person at Menara Bank Danamon. In the seminar, solution providers
deliver insightful presentations, showcasing their products and services specifically tailored to meet the diverse needs of Danamon’s
clients. Following these presentations, all registered clients are invited to participate in the Business Matching Meeting, where they
can engage in direct, one-on-one interactions with solution providers to explore potential collaborations and solutions. This format
encourages meaningful connections and fosters a platform where clients can receive practical and innovative solutions, reinforcing Danamon's
commitment to supporting client growth and success.
Building on the success of last year’s Business Matching fair for clients in the food and beverages sector, Danamon has turned its focus
toward the burgeoning cosmetics industry this year. The cosmetics sector was selected due to its rapid growth in Indonesia, making it one
of the country’s most dynamic and promising industries.
Toshiya Shobayashi, Executive Officer Business Collaboration Head at PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, highlighted this strategic focus by stating,
“For this year’s Business Matching Fair, we are concentrating on the cosmetics industry, one of Indonesia’s fastest-growing sectors. Through
our collaboration with the Tokyo SME Support Center, we aim to better support our clients’ business growth by helping them find tailored
solutions that meet their unique needs. This aligns with our commitment to ‘Grow with Danamon Group’.”
This year, Danamon invites nine clients and twelve solution providers, each offering a range of products and services critical to the
cosmetics sector. These include suppliers of raw materials, machinery providers, distributors, and import-export services. The
participating solution providers include MUFG clients from several countries, Indonesia (Jakarta), Singapore, and Japan (Tokyo),
reflecting a strong international network.
Looking ahead, Danamon remains dedicated to organizing future Business Matching Fair events that will cater to various industries,
with upcoming plans to focus on the food and beverages sector, as well as healthcare sector. This commitment underscores the bank’s
ongoing efforts to support clients’ growth opportunities from across diverse markets.
