Reaffirms Commitment to Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing, and Counter-Proliferation Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction, Danamon Wins Award at the Best Report Awards (BREW) 2025

Jakarta, 04 Juli 2025 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”, IDX: BDMN) has received an award at the 2025 Best Report Awards (“BREW”). The event was organized by the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (“PPATK”) in collaboration with the Indonesian Financial Transaction Analysis Association (“AATKI”) to commemorate the 23rd Anniversary of the National Movement for Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing, and the Counter-Proliferation Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction (AML-CTF-CPF).

Rita Mirasari, Director of Danamon, explained, “We are grateful for the appreciation given by PPATK and AATKI to Danamon at the BREW 2025 event. The series of research initiatives and innovations we presented in this competition reflect our ongoing commitment as a financial services institution to uphold regulatory compliance—particularly in preventing money laundering, terrorism financing, the financing of weapons of mass destruction proliferation, and other forms of organized financial crime. Danamon is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and appropriate financial solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. We strive to continuously innovate in order to earn and sustain the trust and loyalty of our customers, while consistently prioritizing compliance and prudence in all our business operations.”

At this event, PPATK and AATKI presented awards to bank reporting entities that submitted the best Suspicious Financial Transaction Reports (“LTKM”), while also promoting the enhancement of reporting quality through a knowledge-sharing session among analysts in the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML-CTF) community within the financial services sector.

The BREW 2025 series of activities commenced in March 2025, with 30 banks participating in the case document selection phase of the competition. The evaluation process was conducted by an independent and objective panel of jurors, based on criteria including the reliability of the detection system, depth of analysis, and a value-added analysis of the report. From this process, 10 finalists were selected to proceed to the in-depth interview and presentation stages. Out of these finalists, the jury announced the top three winners, with Danamon securing second place. The award was presented by Mr. Ivan Yustiavandana, Head of PPATK.

Through this event, PPATK and AATKI expressed hope that the innovations showcased at BREW 2025 would serve as benchmarks for enhancing the overall quality of reporting. They also emphasized that combating money laundering, terrorism financing, and the financing of weapons of mass destruction is a shared responsibility that involves all elements of the nation—including law enforcement agencies, reporting institutions, regulators, and the wider community.
