Danamon Launches Danamon Hadiah Beruntun Program for the Third Time

Jakarta, 27 June 2024 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”) presents once again the Danamon Hadiah Beruntun (DHB) program for the third time, adopting the themes of "Semua Bisa Menang (Everyone Can Win)" and "Menang Berkali-Kali (Winning Many Times").

Unlike the previous programs, this edition of the program is due to be implemented over a longer period of eight (8) months, from the beginning of June 2024 to 31 January 2025. It will also present various interesting additional features, including a prize scheme that allows more participants to become the winners and easier participation requirements so that it can reach various segments of society in a more inclusive manner.

The "Winning Many Times" theme was proven by a Danamon customer from Sumbawa who won an Innova Zenix Hybrid car during the first quarterly drawing and won a Tesla Model 3 during the grand prize drawing in the second DHB program. There was also a customer from Semarang who won prizes in the form of an Innova Zenix Hybrid car in the first quarterly draw, 25 grams of precious metal in the second quarterly draw, and 10 grams of precious metal in the grand prize draw in the first DHB. There was also a customer who won a Yamaha Nmax in the first quarterly drawing and Rp1 million cashback in the second DHB grand prize drawing.

Meanwhile, the winners of the CRV Hybrid car from the grand prize drawing were customers from outside Java - from Palembang and from Timika. This proves that the “Everyone Can Win” them in line with other taglines of the DHB program.

"The DHB is Danamon's initiative to collect third party funds and strengthen the consumer banking business. Danamon sees that the response from customers and the public toward the program is quite positive, making us confident to continue the program and making it one of our flagship programs to build the Danamon brand," said Ivan Jaya, Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk.

The DHB for this period has several categories with various attractive prizes, including Monthly Direct Prizes, Regional Draw Prizes – which is set to be held every four months in each of Danamon's 12 regions, and Grand Prize Draw, which will be held throughout Indonesia at the end of the period program. Prizes for each category are as follows:

  • Monthly Direct Prize
    • Cashback worth Rp500,000 that applies in multiples with a maximum cashback of Rp15 million per month
  • Regional Draw Prize (conducted in each 12 regions of Danamon every four month)

In the spirit of reaching more customers and the public to participate, the program is designed with terms and conditions and a drawing number collection scheme that further increases customers' chances of winning prizes through the Main Draw Number and Additional Draw Numbers. With this high inclusive spirit, the DPS program was introduced to customers and the community in line with the introduction of the "Grow with Danamon Group" concept. One of the strategies in it is an effort to enable Danamon to continue to grow with customers as a financial group and to eye a double-digit business growth in terms of funding with sustainable profits. After it was implemented twice since April 2023, the program has brought a positive impact on the growth of Danamon's third party funds by more than 13% YoY.

On top of that, the implementation of the DPS program also prove Danamon's commitment to being actively involved in efforts to improve financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia in accordance with the goal of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for stakeholders in the financial sector. This is stated in Regulation of the OJK Number 3 of 2023 on Improving Literacy and Financial Inclusion in the Financial Services Sector for Consumers and the Community and Regulation of the OJK Number 22 of 2023 on Consumer and Community Protection in the Financial Services Sector. Through various regulations that have been issued as well as various other initiatives, the OJK targets the Financial Inclusion index in 2024 to be 90% with the main targets including informal and professional workers, pupils and students, the younger generation, and various communities.

"The DPS program is one of the initiatives carried out by Danamon to support the OJK's efforts to make more and more Indonesians part of the banking system. By inviting the public and customers from various groups to save, Danamon hopes this step can be the bank's contribution to increasing Indonesia's Financial Inclusion index," Ivan concluded.
