Recent research conducted by Danamon and Jakpat shows the complexity of financial needs faced by prospective brides and grooms in planning their wedding and post-wedding life. The research, involving more than 1000 respondents in January 2024, also revealed that couples not only focus on reception details, but also on post-wedding preparations, including honeymoon planning, which reaches a significant figure of 42%. Out of the respondents who paid special attention to the honeymoon, 81% said they wanted to go on honeymoon immediately after the reception. These findings underscore the importance of careful financial planning, starting from the initial stages until after the wedding.

As many as 91% of respondents said they used savings for financing, while 65% used joint accounts, showing the need for transparent and planned spending.
