At the event, which was organized by the Banking Directors of Operations Communication Forum (FKDOP), Danamon won 10 awards for various innovations in banking operations.
Jakarta, 20 June 2025 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”, IDX: BDMN) received awards for its commitment to innovation in banking operations at the 1st Indonesia Operations Banking Summit (“IOBS”) 2025, held in Jakarta on Monday (28/05). Organized by the Banking Directors of Operations Communication Forum (“FKDOP”), the event aimed to foster sustainable competition for higher standards, promote continuous innovation in the banking sector, and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among banks.

At the IOBS 2025 event, 135 participants from 104 banks competed to develop effective and efficient banking operational solutions—not only to address daily operational challenges but also to contribute to long-term operational strategies that positively impact the national banking industry. The evaluation of the submitted innovations focused on several key aspects: strategic planning and problem identification, solution implementation, performance evaluation and measurement, continuous improvement and follow-up actions, international recognition, as well as creativity and quality of presentation. The event also featured expert speakers who shared insights on innovation, operational strategy, and the challenges faced by the banking sector in the digital era.
In this competition, Danamon won a total of 10 awards, including one Diamond Award for its internal identity access management system; six Gold Awards for various innovations, such as a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot, a web-based telephone system, and the automation of multiple document checking processes; and three Silver Awards for development projects, including electronic catalog and filing systems, as well as procedures for the D'Track application.
