Danamon and Adira Finance together with MUFG Support the 2023 Jak-Japan Matsuri Cultural Exchange Festival

Jakarta, November 18, 2023 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk ("Danamon"), together with with PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance, Tbk ("Adira Finance"), and MUFG Bank Ltd. (MUFG), are proud to announce their support for the Jak-Japan Matsuri (JJM), which will return on 18-19 November 2023 at JIExpo. 

This collaboration is a part of the group’s commitment to supporting Indonesia's long-term economic growth by strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Japan.

Since it was first held back in 2009, the Jak Japan Matsuri has become a forum that facilitates cultural exchange between the two nations. Danamon, MUFG and Adira Finance have given their support for the Jak Japan Matsuri since 2019. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, in 2022 this festival returned to fX Sudirman Mall. This year, the Jak-Japan Matsuri will be held again on a larger scale by taking place at Gambir Expo, JIExpo Kemayoran 

Through the festival, the Indonesian people can get the opportunity to learn more about and experience Japanese culture directly through a variety of popular entertainments such as famous artists and pop culture. This year's JJM theme is "Indonesia & Japan Always Together," which shows the strong commitment between Japan and Indonesia to always stand united under any circumstances.  This event is hoped to draw the interest of young people as the next generation who will strengthen relations between the two countries.
