Danamon Celebrates 69th Anniversary with the Spirit of Grow Together, Advance Together

Jakarta, 16 July 2025 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”) today celebrates its 69th Anniversary, carrying the theme Tumbuh Bersama, Maju Bersama (Grow Together, Advance Together). This theme symbolizes Danamon’s collaboration with its parent company, group members, and strategic partners to provide holistic financial solutions for all customers. The 69-year journey is a reflection of the strength and resilience that have accompanied every step of Danamon’s progress to date.

D. Ejima, President Director of Danamon, explained, “Danamon is proud to have become a trusted financial partner of our customers for the past 69 years. This would not have been possible without close collaborations as One Financial Group, as well as the dedication and hard work from all Danamoners. With the spirit of Grow Together, Advance Together, we celebrate this anniversary through providing various benefits for our loyal customers. Moving forward to the 70th year, we remain committed to being a customer-centric financial group.”

Grow Together to Become One of Indonesia’s Leading Financial Groups

Throughout nearly seven decades, Danamon has achieved numerous key milestones. In terms of the governance, the recent approval of Danamon as Operational Financial Holding Company (“FHC”) of the MUFG Financial Conglomeration (“MUFG FC”) in Indonesia from the Financial Services Authority (“OJK”) affirms Danamon’s key role in controlling, consolidating, and being responsible for all MUFG FC activities in Indonesia, whose members are PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk (“Adira Finance”), PT Home Credit Indonesia, and PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (“Mandala Finance”).

In addition, the planned merger of the group’s two multifinance companies, Adira Finance and Mandala Finance, which has been approved by shareholders and regulators, marks a major step in expanding service reach, strengthening market position, and driving synergy and continuous innovation in Indonesia’s multifinance industry.

Danamon also invests to build the foundation for growth, to provide banking and financial solutions tailored to customers’ needs. The investments include:

  1. Branch transformation (Next Gen Branch Concept) across Indonesia.
  2. Evolution of Danamon’s digital banking solutions through the D-Bank PRO application for retail and SME customers and Danamon Cash Connect for corporate customers.
  3. Upgrade of Danamon on Wheels, the mobile branches that bring Danamon closer to its customers.
  4. Human resources development through various management trainee programs: Danamon Bankers Trainee (DBT), Danamon Technology Trainee (DTT), Danamon SME Trainee (DST), and Danamon Banking Officer (DBO) designed to shape the next generation of Danamon bankers.

All these strategic initiatives strengthen Danamon’s position, together with its parent company, group members, and strategic partners, as one of Indonesia’s leading financial groups.
