Danamon Strengthens Its Digital Banking Service with D-Bank Registration

Jakarta, 30 January 2019. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Bank Danamon) today officially launch D-Bank Registration application to complement D-Bank, a comprehensive digital banking solution from Bank Danamon. Using “Banking Your Way” as a tagline, this application would bring added convenience for customers in conducting end-to-end digital banking activities, anywhere and anytime. With D-Bank Registration, in addition of visiting the nearest branches, prospective customer can open an account within the application through a video call verification process, which is entirely online and integrated. The launch of this application is conducted in five large cities, which are Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, and Bandung.

This newly introduced application further strengthens Bank Danamon’s digital banking suite, comprising of Danamon Online Banking, SMS Banking, and ATMs.

D-Bank Registration to open Bank Danamon account, entirely online

D-Bank Registration is an application that provide maximum convenience for prospective customers to open an account anywhere, anytime. Opening an account is as easy as downloading the application via App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play for (Android devices). Afterward, the prospective customer can fill in his or her personal information into the application, attaching a photo of his or her ID card, in addition to a selfie of with the ID card. Next, the prospective customer can choose to do the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process either by visiting the nearest Bank Danamon branch or through a video call with a video banking officer within the D-Bank Registration application.

Once the process is completed, the prospective customer can choose to have his or her Debit/ATM card mailed to an address of his/her choosing and activate the card within the same app, or pick up the card in the nearest Bank Danamon branch.

The launch of this application is supported by several added benefits and features that can be redeemed through the D-Bank Registration application, including Free Monthly Fee, Free Online Transfer Fee, and Free Cash Withdrawals (up to 10 times per month) through the ATM BERSAMA, ALTO, and PRIMA network, without minimum balance requirement. Furthermore, the D-Bank application allows users to open Online Deposit account or other savings products as well as perform Cardless Cash Withdrawals. Customers with D-Bank can access other products, service, and features offered by Bank Danamon anywhere.

The requirements to open a Bank Danamon account through the D-Bank Registration application are as follows:
• Indonesian citizen with an electronic ID card.  
• Personal information is registered and updated in the Civil Registry. 
• Never been a Bank Danamon customer or own a Bank Danamon account.. 

Meanwhile, the requirements to operate the D-Bank Registration application are having a minimum of IOS 7 or Android 4.4 smartphone operating system with stable internet connection.
