I. DEFINITIONS
Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the relevant sentence, all terms used in these General Terms and Conditions shall have the following meanings:

Bancassurance refers to a collaborative activity between the Bank and an insurance company for the purpose of marketing the insurance company’s products through the Bank.

Bank refers to PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, domiciled in South Jakarta, acting through its head office, branch offices, or other forms of offices throughout Indonesia.

CIF (Customer Identification File) is a unique number issued by the Bank to identify each Customer.
-
Time Deposit refers to a deposit that can only be withdrawn at a specific time and under certain conditions.
-
D-Bank PRO is a banking information and transaction service provided by the Bank to Customers, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and accessible via D-Bank PRO mobile using a mobile phone or via D-Bank PRO web using a computer or tablet.
-
D-Point refers to reward points earned by Customers through banking transactions/activities, with the amount determined by the Bank. The system calculates and accumulates points from various banking transactions conducted by the Customer, based on Bank products owned by the Customer, provided that all products are recorded under a single CIF. Accumulated points may be redeemed for various rewards through redemption channels provided by the Bank.

Danamon E-Channel refers to electronic banking information and transaction services provided by the Bank to Customers, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and accessible directly by Customers in accordance with the Bank’s applicable provisions.

Current Account refers to a Customer’s deposit at the Bank that can be withdrawn using checks, demand deposit slips, and/or other payment instruments.

Hello Danamon is a business unit authorized to provide non-cash banking information and transaction services to Customers via telephone, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Danamon Debit/ATM Card is a card issued by the Bank upon the Customer’s request, functioning as an ATM card and/or debit card and/or other functions as determined by the Bank.

Danamon Credit Card is a card issued by the Bank and provided to the Customer upon request, under the license of a Principal (including but not limited to Visa, Mastercard, and JCB) in cooperation with the Bank. It can be used as a payment instrument for obligations arising from economic activities, including purchases and/or cash withdrawals, where the payment obligation is initially fulfilled by the Issuer or the Bank, and the Customer is required to repay the obligation either in full or in installments by the due date each month or as otherwise agreed.

Home Ownership Loan refers to a credit or financing facility provided by the Bank to borrowers for the purpose of purchasing a house, shop-house, office-house, and/or apartment unit, whether new or pre-owned, in accordance with the Bank’s provisions.

Customer refers to an individual who holds an account with the Bank and/or uses banking facilities/services provided by the Bank.
-
SME Credit Solution Product is a financial solution from the Bank specifically designed and targeted for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to support business development in the form of loan credit or working capital financing.

Mutual Fund is a vehicle used to collect funds from investors to be invested in a securities portfolio by an investment manager.
-
Savings Account refers to a Customer’s deposit at the Bank that can only be withdrawn under certain conditions.
-
OTP (One-Time Password) is a confidential code sent via SMS to the Customer’s mobile phone number registered in the Bank’s system, to be entered into the Redemption Channel for D-Point redemption transactions.

Redemption Channel refers to the D-Point redemption website at dpoint.id, used by Customers to redeem D-Points for various available rewards, or other channels provided by the Bank.
II. GENERAL PROVISIONS OF D-POINT

The Customer hereby acknowledges that the Bank has provided sufficient explanation regarding the characteristics of D-Point to be used by the Customer, and the Customer has understood and accepted all consequences of using D-Point, including its benefits, risks, and associated fees, which are also available through the Bank’s communication channels.

By redeeming D-Points through the Redemption Channel in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions, the Customer is deemed to have read, understood, agreed to, and accepted to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions.

Customers who maintain an individual account with the Bank are automatically eligible to earn D-Points by conducting transactions in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions and the policies of Bank Danamon.

Customers may directly access D-Point information reports via the Redemption Channel or other media as determined by the Bank.
III. D-POINT VALIDITY PERIOD
- The maximum validity period of D-Points is three (3) years from the date of crediting. D-Points earned by the Customer cannot be used or claimed under the following conditions:

If the Customer does not redeem the points within three (3) years of being credited, the points will expire.

If the Customer closes all accounts and/or Danamon Credit Cards, all accumulated D-Points will expire, even if the three-year validity period has not yet elapsed.

The Customer’s ownership of D-Points will automatically terminate if the Customer no longer holds an account with the Bank, a Danamon Credit Card, and/or is deemed ineligible by the Bank to accumulate or redeem D-Points due to fraudulent activity or violation of Bank policies or applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia. In such cases, the Bank reserves the full right to cancel the Customer’s ownership of D-Points.
IV. PRODUCT CRITERIA ELIGIBLE FOR D-POINTS
The following products are eligible for D-Points and serve as the basis for D-Point calculation:

V. D-POINT ALLOCATION MECHANISM

D-Points will be credited to the Customer’s D-Point account at the end of the month based on the accumulation of the Customer’s banking transactions.

D-Points earned from transactions using the Danamon Credit Card will be credited to the Customer’s D-Point account associated with the Danamon Credit Card.
-
D-Points earned from Danamon Debit/ATM Card, Home Ownership Loan, Danamon E-Channels (ATM/CDM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and SMS Banking), Bancassurance (Insurance), Mutual Funds, and SME Credit Solution Products (Shop-house Investment Credit, Business Investment Credit, Working Capital Credit) will be credited to the Customer’s D-Point account associated with the Danamon Debit/ATM Card.

In the event of a discrepancy between the Customer’s point calculation and the Bank’s system records, the calculation recorded in the Bank’s system shall prevail.
VII. D-Point Redemption Channels
D-Point redemption may only be carried out by Customers who possess D-Points through the Redemption Channels or other channels provided by the Bank.
VIII. D-Point Redemption Terms and Conditions

D-Points may be redeemed for a variety of products/services (“Rewards”) through the Redemption Channels.
-
D-Points that have been converted/redeemed by the Customer are non-cancellable.
-
Rewards selected for redemption using D-Points are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other forms of compensation.

Redemption of D-Points through the Redemption Channels shall be subject to the following conditions:
-
Each redemption transaction requires the Customer to have a registered email address in the Bank’s system. If not registered, the Customer must first provide their personal email address to the Bank.

Customers must read, understand, and agree to these General Terms and Conditions and the specific terms and conditions of the selected Reward.
-
By redeeming D-Points through the Redemption Channels in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions, the Customer is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by them.
-
During the redemption process, the Customer must log in for verification and authentication. The Bank will then send a One-Time Password (OTP) to the mobile number registered in the Bank’s system. If the number is not registered, the Customer will not receive the OTP.
-
Customers may then select the Reward to be redeemed with D-Points.
-
Upon successful redemption, the Customer will receive a transaction notification via the registered email address.
-
The Bank, under a cooperation agreement, may be assisted by third-party vendors in the redemption and delivery of Rewards. These vendors are responsible for providing and delivering the Rewards to the Customer.

The Customer authorizes the Bank to disclose personal data/information including full name, email address, mobile number, and physical address to the Bank’s corporate group (including controlling shareholders, parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries) and partner companies for product/service development and for the purpose of Reward redemption and delivery. The Customer acknowledges the Bank’s explanation regarding the purpose and consequences of such data disclosure.

The Bank will maintain the confidentiality of the Customer’s data and will use it solely for the Bank’s interests and service fulfillment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Redeemed D-Points cannot be cancelled unless the Bank or vendor is unable to fulfill the Reward delivery.
-
In such cases, the Bank will return the redeemed D-Points to the Customer within a maximum of three (3) business days following confirmation from Hello Danamon that the Reward delivery cannot be fulfilled.
IX.
Fees
No additional fees will be charged for D-Point redemption through the Redemption Channels.
X.
Authorization

The Customer hereby authorizes the Bank to debit the amount of D-Points owned by the Customer equivalent to the number of D-Points to be redeemed for the Reward selected by the Customer, including any fees incurred in connection with such redemption.

This authorization, granted by the Customer in relation to the debiting and conversion of D-Points into the selected Reward under these General Terms and Conditions, is provided with substitution rights and shall remain valid for as long as the Customer continues to use D-Points and has outstanding obligations to the Bank. Accordingly, this authorization cannot be revoked or terminated for any reason, including but not limited to those stated in Articles 1813 (termination of authorization: by withdrawal of the authorization by the principal; by notification of termination by the agent; by the death, guardianship, or bankruptcy of either the principal or the agent), 1814 (the principal may revoke the authorization at will and, if necessary, compel the agent to return the authorization), and 1816 (appointment of a new agent for the same matter results in revocation of the previous authorization, effective upon notification to the former agent) of the Indonesian Civil Code. This authorization forms an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions.
XI.
Representations and Warranties

The Customer hereby declares and warrants that each instruction to redeem D-Points for the selected Reward is made in good faith, and the Customer requests the Bank to execute the instruction as submitted.

The Customer agrees that every D-Point redemption instruction received and executed by the Bank under these General Terms and Conditions is true, complete, accurate, valid, and binding on the Customer, and may serve as strong and conclusive evidence of the Customer’s redemption request before a court of law.

The Customer further declares and agrees that the Bank has the right to record or document every redemption instruction submitted by the Customer, and that such records and/or communications (including but not limited to video recordings, images, transaction logs, tapes/cartridges, or copies thereof) shall be accepted as valid and binding evidence.

The Customer affirms that the redemption of D-Points is initiated solely by the Customer, without coercion from any party.

In connection with the submission of D-Point redemption instructions, the Customer acknowledges:

The Bank has absolute authority to accept or reject any D-Point redemption instruction submitted by the Customer. If the Bank executes the redemption instruction, the Customer agrees that any transaction receipt received via the Customer’s email address registered in the Bank’s system shall be recognized as valid and binding evidence that the Bank has carried out the Customer’s requested instruction.

For the purpose of executing the D-Point redemption instruction, or to proceed with the instruction, if any additional requirements/documents and/or information are needed from the Customer, the Customer agrees to promptly fulfill such requirements at any time by signing the necessary documents and/or providing the required information as stipulated by the Bank or applicable laws and regulations, and accepts all consequences arising from failure to meet these requirements.

The Customer acknowledges and understands that the D-Point redemption procedure carries potential risks, including but not limited to:
-
Errors resulting from negligence or incorrect data/instruction entry to the Bank, which may lead to:
-
Transactions not performed by the Customer, and proven by the Customer to have been conducted by unauthorized individuals;
-
Customer data being used by unauthorized parties; and/or
-
The OTP being accessed by other individuals, including family members.
-
Delays or failures in access, as well as delays or failures in the provision of D-Point-related information/data or the execution of transactions instructed by the Customer, may occur due to, among other things: force majeure events, misuse of D-Points contrary to the provisions established by the Bank under these General Terms and Conditions, or other causes beyond the Bank’s control.

Data/information presented by the Bank may be inaccurate or corrupted due to interference from parties attempting to infiltrate or damage the data, or other third parties acting in bad faith.
-
The Customer has received, read, understood, and agrees to comply with these General Terms and Conditions, the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia, prevailing banking practices, and other provisions established by the Bank in relation to D-Points.
-
The Customer declares full understanding and accepts full responsibility for all D-Point redemption instructions as outlined in the D-Point Redemption Terms and Conditions, which have been agreed to by the Customer without any coercion from any party. All risks arising from transactions executed by the Bank in accordance with the Customer’s instructions shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer.

The Customer affirms that they have read and understood these General Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by all provisions contained herein.

The Bank’s authority to accept D-Point redemption instructions shall remain in effect until: (i) a request to terminate D-Point redemption is received from the Customer; or (ii) the Bank, based on its discretion and capabilities, decides to discontinue the D-Point redemption service, with prior notice to the Customer.
XII.
Prohibitions

The right to use D-Points may not be transferred, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, to any other party for any reason without prior written consent from the Bank. The Customer is fully responsible for any misuse of D-Points.

The Customer is prohibited from disclosing, in any manner and to any party, any Customer data/information, OTP, or any details, documents, or other materials obtained during or after the use of D-Points.

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that any violation of the provisions outlined in points 1 and 2 shall entitle the Bank to suspend or terminate the use of D-Points by the Customer, with prior notice
XIII.
Force Majeure
-
Force Majeure refers to any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Bank, which is unforeseeable and prevents or delays banking transactions. Such events include, but are not limited to:
-
Natural disasters, lightning strikes, earthquakes, floods, storms, explosions, fires, and other acts of nature
-
Epidemics, pandemics, or the imposition of quarantine
-
War, criminal acts, terrorism, rebellion, riots, civil war, unrest, sabotage, and revolution
-
Strikes;
-
Disruptions caused by computer viruses, Trojan horses, or harmful components that interfere with services, web browsers, user computers, or Internet Service Providers
-
System or transmission failures, power outages, telecommunications disruptions, government policies, or banking system failures
-
The Bank shall not be deemed negligent if such events arise due to Force Majeure.
-
In the event of Force Majeure affecting the Bank, the Bank will notify the Customer through any available communication channel.
XIV. Miscellaneous

Other terms and conditions related to the Bank’s products and/or services shall remain valid and binding on the Customer, and form an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise stipulated herein.

These General Terms and Conditions form an integral and inseparable part of the “General Terms and Conditions for Accounts and Banking Services,” the “General Terms and Conditions for Sharia Accounts and Banking Services,” the “General Terms and Conditions of Danamon Credit Card Membership,” the “General Terms and Conditions of Danamon American Express Credit and Charge Card Membership,” and the “Terms and Conditions of each Reward.” These terms and conditions shall remain valid and binding insofar as they are not otherwise regulated in these General Terms and Conditions.

The Customer hereby agrees and acknowledges that the Bank reserves the right to revise, amend, or supplement these General Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes, additions, or updates to these General Terms and Conditions will be communicated through the Bank’s available communication channels. In the event of changes to the benefits, risks, fees, terms, or conditions under these General Terms and Conditions, the Customer has the right to submit a written objection to the Bank within thirty (30) business days from the date the Bank provides such notification through its communication channels. The Customer agrees that if no objection is submitted within the specified period, the Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the changes. If the Customer does not agree to the changes, the Customer has the right to cancel or terminate the Bank’s products or services, provided that all outstanding obligations to Bank Danamon (if any) are first settled.

The Customer declares that there are no and will not be any transactions suspected of money laundering and/or other prohibited activities under the applicable laws and regulations of Indonesia.

In the event of any report indicating fraud, misconduct, and/or irregularities in transactions, Bank Danamon reserves the right to cancel the awarding of D-Points and/or the redemption transaction of D-Points for the relevant Customer.

If any provision in these General Terms and Conditions is prohibited, unenforceable, or declared null and void by government regulation or court decision, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain binding and enforceable as stipulated in these General Terms and Conditions. With respect to any provision that is prohibited or unenforceable, the Bank will adjust and replace it with a provision that is enforceable in accordance with the Bank’s policy.

The headings and terminology used in these General Terms and Conditions are solely intended to facilitate understanding of the content.

PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk is licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) and is a participant in the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan/LPS) guarantee program.
-
The General Terms and Conditions of the Program has been adjusted to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including provisions issued by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
