PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) through the Maumere Branch in Sikka Regency distributed aid to survivors of the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki at the evacuation posts in Konga Village and Lewolaga Village, Titehena District, East Flores Regency, NTT at the end of last November.
The assistance distributed was in the form of one water tank unit, to the representative of the party at the Lewolaga Post, East Flores Regency, Brigpol Lanang (Right) (operator of Ransus Desalinator/Water Distillation). This water tank will be used to store clean water from both rainwater and PDAM water.
Through this donation, the collected water will be filtered using equipment from the NTT Regional Police to be used as drinking water and also to provide clean water for refugees at the Lewolaga Post, East Flores Regency.
In addition to distributing one water tank unit, Danamon also distributed several types of food, beverages and goods including one ton of rice, 90 boxes of mineral water, 60 boxes of milk, 30 racks of eggs, underwear for children, teenagers, adults, men and women, water tanks, plates, spoons, thermoses, rice bags, plastic trash, flashlights, and canned fish.
After distributing aid, Danamon represented by the head of the Maumere branch together with Danamon employees took the time to visit the refugees and entertain the affected children through several activities including singing together while dancing, giving riddles and several questions to answer, and continued with the distribution of milk to the children after the activity was over.
