Jakarta, August 19, 2024 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) has won an award at the HR Excellence Awards organized by HRonline.net. This award is a form of recognition for companies that excel in global workforce mobility, resulting in increased competencies and performance, ultimately supporting the company's success.
The HR Excellence Awards Indonesia was first launched in 2019 and has since become a platform for bringing together talented HR professionals for the future sustainable development of human resources. At the HR Excellence Awards 2024, Danamon received the 'Excellence in Workforce Mobility' award with the Gold Trophy distinction. This award was given in recognition of Danamon's Human Capital team's commitment to managing employee training and career development locally and globally.
Evi Damayanti, Chief of Human Capital at Danamon, stated, “Thank you for again recognizing Danamon's Human Capital team. This award is a testament to the continuous dedication and commitment that Danamon demonstrates in developing its human resources for sustainable change for both the company and its employees.”
To achieve its goals and aspirations, Danamon has established strong corporate values as a behavioral foundation: BISA (Collaboration, Integrity, Customer Centric, and Adaptive). Danamon also implements the Employee Value Proposition GROW (Global Exposure, Rise to Excellence, Own Your Future, and Wellness & Well-being). “I believe that sustainable success can be achieved by leveraging Danamon's strengths with MUFG as the parent company and its group of companies and strategic partners to build extensive local and global networks,” Evi added.
To support these aspirations, Danamon offers various programs for its employees, including the Danamon Global Mobility Program, which provides opportunities for employees to work at partner companies in Indonesia or abroad for a certain period. Through this program, employees are expected to gain knowledge and best business practices at partner companies, actively engage in collaborative work and projects, learn diverse work cultures, and acquire various technical skills through interaction and guidance provided.
Danamon's Global Mobility Program includes several types, such as the Three Month Intensive Program (TIP), which offers a 3-month assignment at MUFG's headquarters in Tokyo, and the Global Experience Talent Swap (GETS), which provides a 3-month assignment at Danamon Partner Banks in Asia Pacific (Krungsri Bank, Vietin Bank, Security Bank, etc.), America, or Europe (MUFG).
The developments undertaken by Danamon manifest its commitment to becoming an “employer of choice” and a trusted financial partner for its customers. With this award, Danamon remains committed to developing its human resources to achieve a brighter and more successful future.
