Jakarta, 22 February 2024 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) today announced that more than 500 customers have emerged as winners of the Danamon Hadiah Beruntung (DHB) in the first quarterly drawing period in 2024. Danamon's financial achievements show that this program has brought a positive impact on Danamon's overall business, including growth in the consumer banking segment, especially third-party funds.
The DHB program has been launched once again for the period November 2023 - April 2024 after it was met with high interest from Danamon customers and the public. The drawing event for the first quarterly period was held on Thursday (22 February 2024) at Menara Bank Danamon in Jakarta.
During the drawing, Danamon announced names of the lucky customers from 12 Danamon operational areas, with the main prize per region including:
As a bank that adopts a customer centric approach, Danamon always listens to inputs from customers and the public. To that end, this edition of the DHB program is implemented with a different, more inclusive scheme, including easier terms and conditions for getting lottery numbers by simply increasing savings balance by an average of Rp5 million every three months.
Adopting the theme “Makin Besar Kesempatan untuk #SemuaBisaMenang dan #MenangBerkali-kali”, this edition of the DHB program managed to attract bigger public interest than ever. This is evident from the number of participants increasing threefold compared to the previous DHB program for the same period.
Apart from the high enthusiasm of customers to participate, the DHB program also has an impact on increasing Danamon's consumer banking business, in line with Danamon's long-term growth strategy through organic and sustainable customer growth.
In the presentation session on Danamon's Full Year 2023 Financial Results on 19 February 2024, Danamon announced it had succeeded in recording growth in third-party funds (DPK) of 10% YoY, or Rp140.4 trillion. The growth was driven, among other things, by the implementation of DHBs with national coverage, consistent development of granular funding through an institutional approach strategy and increasing digital partnerships.
In general, Danamon recorded a convincing financial performance, one of which evident from the consolidated net profit after tax (NPAT) of Rp3.5 trillion in 2023, an increase of 6% yoy compared to the previous year.
“I am glad that the Danamon Hadiah Beruntun program has met with a positive response from the public. We hope this program can continue to be an engine of growth for Danamon's consumer banking business and provide real opportunities for customers to experience greater benefits from growing with Danamon," said Ivan Jaya, Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk.
