Junichi Hanzawa, President & CEO, MUFG Bank, Ltd., Emphasize Business Commitment in Indonesia Through a Meeting with Management and Senior Bankers.

Junichi Hanzawa, the President and CEO of MUFG Bank, Ltd., visited Indonesia, his first since assuming the current role in 2021 as part of the commitment to fortify MUFG's business presence in the country. During this visit, he met with the management and senior bankers of MUFG Jakarta Branch, Danamon, as well as management and senior staff from Adira Finance. Mr Hanzawa conveyed his appreciation and reiterated MUFG's commitment to develop a strong commercial banking business in Indonesia, particularly through its subsidiaries, Danamon and Adira Finance. This reflects MUFG's dedication to providing banking and financial solutions to meet a wide spectrum of customers in Indonesia. Mr Hanzawa meet with 200 colleagues at a group town hall event held on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Menara Bank Danamon, Jakarta. Mr Hanzawa call for colleagues to further strengthen collaboration between MUFG, Danamon, and Adira Finance, and accelerate business growth in Indonesia.

Junichi Hanzawa, the President and CEO of MUFG Bank, Ltd. (2nd from left), visited one of the Bank Danamon branches currently undergoing the Next Generation Branch in Kelapa Gading. During this visit, Mr Hanzawa witnessed the ongoing development of the Next Generation Branch which is part of Danamon's commitment to providing banking and financial solutions that align with the specific needs of each customer. Mr Hanzawa is highly interested in the innovations and transformations undertaken by Danamon to enhance customer experience. Throughout the visit, Hanzawa also exchanged greetings with the Danamon employees on duty at the branch.

Junichi Hanzawa, the President and CEO of MUFG Bank, Ltd., (2nd from left) continued his visit by going to one of the Adira Finance branches in Kelapa Gading. Adira Finance is a subsidiary of Danamon and currently holds a leading position as a multifinance company in Indonesia. During this visit, Hanzawa had the opportunity to exchange greetings with the Adira Finance employees on duty. This demonstrates MUFG's commitment to strengthening synergy and collaboration between MUFG, Danamon, and Adira Finance. Mr Hanzawa is thrilled to witness the progress of Adira Finance as one of the prominent players in the multifinance industry in Indonesia. In this visit, Mr Hanzawa aims to strengthen the relationship between MUFG, Danamon, and Adira Finance, as well as drive better business growth in Indonesia.

Junichi Hanzawa, the President and CEO of MUFG Bank, Ltd., (seated, middle) continued his visit by visiting MUFG Bank, Ltd., Jakarta Branch. During this visit, Mr Hanzawa thanked the 600 employees of MUFG Bank Jakarta Branch. Indonesia has been the country where MUFG has made the largest investment in the last decade. With the support from all employees of MUFG Bank Jakarta Branch, Mr Hanzawa believes that there will be a bright future for MUFG Bank especially in Indonesia, a country with tremendous growth and great potential.
