JAKARTA, October 13 2021 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia’s (Danamon) House Ownership Credit business (Kredit Pemilikan Rumah/KPR) won the 2021 Indonesia Property Award (PIA) during ceremonies held at the Sheraton Hotel Grand Jakarta Ballroom in Gandaria City, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/06/2011). 10/2021). KPR Danamon earned the PIA 2021 award under the category: Property Supporting Business; Banking sub-category entitled ‘The Progressive Mortgage Bank with Accelerating Partnership’.
Receiving the award on behalf of Danamon KPR was Secured Business Head, Yenny Frisca.

This year's PIA event carried the theme "The Property Industry Rises Amidst a Pandemic". Media Properti Indonesia Chief Marketing Officer Anditya P Leksana, who also acted as the Event Coordinator, explained that the theme was dedicated to creative and innovative thinking, and prudent steps and policies in managing the property industry amid a less conducive economic situation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the first half of 2021, Bank Danamon recorded total loan and trade value of Rp131.43 trillion, an 8% decrease compared to the same period last year, which posted a value of Rp 142.71 trillion.
The company's performance was propped up by 11% credit growth in the enterprise banking segment, which consisted of corporate, commercial and financial institutions, supported by its collaboration with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), a global network of one of the largest banks in the world.
