Danamon and Adira Finance’s Leaders Win Prestigious Awards in Infobank Top 100 CEO 2023 & Bankers of the Year 2023

Jakarta, 12 December 2023 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) together with PT Adira Dinamika Multi finance, Tbk. (Adira Finance) is proud to announce that Danamon’s President Director D. Ejima, Danamon’s Vice President Director Honggo W. Kangmasto, and Adira Finance’s President Director Dewa Made Susila have received prestigious awards organized by Indonesia’s magazine Infobank. In a ceremony convened at Four Seasons Hotel in South Jakarta and attended by leading figures in Indonesia’s financial industry, D. Ejima and Dewa Made received Infobank Top 100 CEO 2023 award, while Honggo received Infobank Bankers of the Year 2023 award. 

D. Ejima received the Infobank Top 100 CEO 2023 Award for his dedication in leading Danamon with effective leadership. The award recognizes his outstanding performance in building and transforming Danamon into one of leading banks in Indonesia.

“I am honored to receive this award, which will motivate me to make a better contribution to develop Danamon's business and the banking industry in Indonesia. I would also like to thank Danamon's management, employees, and customers.  I hope this success will continue to last," said D. Ejima.

D. Ejima received Bachelor of Economics from Tokyo University, Japan, and Master of Business Administration from University of Michigan, United States. Prior to joining Danamon, he had served as Regional Executive for MUFG Bank Asia Pacific and was responsible for MUFG's business in 18 countries across the Asia Pacific region. 

As President Director, D. Ejima has led digital transformation at Danamon and introduced innovative mobile banking initiatives. He has also succeeded in expanding the bank's business network and improving its performance in surmounting the challenges of the ever-growing banking industry. His long-standing career and experience in the banking industry has also given deep insight and understanding of trends and changes in the sector.

In the same event, Honggo was awarded with Infobank Bankers of the Year 2023 Award in recognition of his impressive career spanning 35 years in Indonesia’s banking industry. The award also highlights his competence in giving extraordinary contributions and roles for Danamon, which he has led to become an increasingly robust and valuable company. 

“The award is a source of pride and honor for me.  It does not belong to me alone, but also to everyone at Danamon.  I receive this award thanks to the support, cooperation and collaboration of my entire team and stakeholders who have always been present at every step of my career so far," Honggo said. 

Honggo earned bachelor’s degree from Sam Ratulangi State University and MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He has an extensive experience at various well-known banks in Indonesia. He is a seasoned banker with in-depth knowledge of the banking industry and strong leadership.  Honggo has successfully led Danamon to achieve success by introducing innovative initiatives, especially for the enterprise banking segment. The achievements and recognition received by Danamon also reflect the success of his leadership.  

In addition, Dewa Made as the leader of Danamon's subsidiary, Adira Finance, was also awarded the Infobank Top 100 CEO 2023 award. This award was received for his role and commitment in leading Adira Finance hence improving the company’s performance and making Adira Finance a leading financing company in Indonesia.

Dewa Made graduated from Bogor Agricultural University with a Bachelor of Agribusiness degree and has a Master Management degree from the PPM School of Management. Dewa Made also holds Chartered Financial Analyst certification from the Association for Investment Management and Research (CFA Institute). Dewa Made has served as Director of Adira Finance since April 2010 and was appointed as President Director in March 2022. During his tenure, Dewa Made was able to bring Adira Finance into a leading financing company through new initiatives, service improvements, and collaboration with Danamon.

Through the awards received by D. Ejima, Honggo, dan Dewa Made, Danamon with Adira Finance are determined and committed to advancing Indonesia’s financial industry.
