Danamon supports your financial growth through mutual fund investments
Mutual fund ownership is represented in the form of Participation Units (UP). Participation Units are obtained when a customer purchases mutual fund units. Below is the calculation for the Participation Units a customer will receive:
Participation Units
=
Customer’s Purchase Amount (after fees)
NAV per Unit
Participation Unit = Customer's Purchase Amount (after fees)
NAV/UP refers to the Net Asset Value per Participation Unit of the mutual fund. It is calculated by summing the total fair market value of the securities and other assets in the fund, subtracting all liabilities, and dividing the result by the number of outstanding Participation Units.
NAV/UP
=
Total fair market value of mutual fund assets - Liabilities
Outstanding Participation Units
The NAV/UP of a mutual fund will fluctuate according to the fair market value of the securities within the fund, which is influenced by market movements. Customers may gain or lose money when they sell their mutual fund Participation Units.
Below is the NAV/UP value of Mutual Fund A from January 2 to January 10, 2020*:

January 3 | 1,246.52 |
January 4 | 1,201.25 |
January 5 | 1,246.58 |
January 6 | 1,235.98 |
January 7 | Holiday |
January 8 | Holiday |
January 9 | 1,290.56 |
January 10 | 1,310.65 |
Simulation 1 – Subscription (January 2)
Subscription Amount = Rp 1,000,000
Fee = 0%
Units Acquired = Rp 1,000,000 / 1,237.44 = 808.12 Units
