A mutual fund is a financial vehicle that pools money from investors to be managed collectively. The funds are then invested by a professional Investment Manager into a diversified portfolio of securities and other financial instruments, aiming to achieve specific investment objectives.
Requirements and Procedures
- Customers must have a CASA account at Bank Danamon and ensure there are sufficient funds for mutual fund Subscription
- Customers must have a valid risk profile to ensure that the subscribed product matches the customer's risk profile, investment needs, and objectives
- Customers must have a Single Investor Identification (SID) for mutual funds. If the customer does not yet have an SID, Bank Danamon will assist in creating one. Customers must provide the necessary documents and complete and sign the following forms:
- Risk Profile Questionnaire Form (if needed, i.e., if the customer has never filled it out or if the existing profile is no longer valid)
- Mutual Fund Transaction Form
- Copy of ID card
- Copy of Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) or NPWP Statement Letter
- The proceeds from the redemption will be credited to the customer's CASA account. Customers must ensure that the account is active to receive the payment from the redemption of mutual fund units.
- Customers must provide the necessary documents and complete and sign the following forms:
- Mutual Fund Transaction Form
- Copy of ID card (KTP)
- Copy of Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) or NPWP Statement Letter
- The payment from the redemption will be made no later than T+7 trading days after the redemption transaction is carried out.
- Customers may switch their mutual fund holdings by selecting both the fund to be switched and the target fund. Both funds must be managed by the same Investment Manager and denominated in the same currency.
- Customers must ensure that the target fund aligns with their risk profile, investment goals, and financial needs.
- To proceed, customers are required to submit the necessary documents and complete the following forms:
- Risk Profile Questionnaire Form (if applicable, e.g., if the existing profile is no longer valid)
- Mutual Fund Transaction Form
- Copy of ID card (KTP)
- Copy of Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) or NPWP Statement Letter

Mutual funds are not part of customer deposits at Bank Danamon and are not covered by the deposit insurance program provided by the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS). - Mutual fund products are fully managed by the Investment Manager as disclosed in the mutual fund prospectus. Bank Danamon acts solely as a Mutual Fund Selling Agent.
- Mutual fund sales through Bank Danamon are conducted by designated employees who are certified as Mutual Fund Selling Agent Representatives (WAPERD).
- Investors will receive transaction confirmation letters or evidence of mutual fund unit transactions and periodic reports related to mutual fund unit ownership and positions electronically and can be downloaded via the Acuan Kepemilikan Sekuritas (AKSes) facility.
