Bali, 21 September 2026 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”) Bali Regional Office held Danamon Matsuri 2026 on 19–20 September 2026 at the Danamon Hayam Wuruk Branch Office in Denpasar, Bali. The event was officially opened by Agus Indrawan, Regional Corporate Officer of Danamon Bali-Nusa Tenggara. Under the theme “Bridging Japan and Bali Through Culture, Community & Opportunity,” Danamon Matsuri 2026 brought together the rich cultural traditions of Japan and Bali through community activities, cultural performances, and the participation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The event also provided a platform to strengthen connections and collaboration within the community.

As part of Danamon Matsuri 2026, Danamon held a Gebogan Competition highlighting one of Bali’s distinctive traditions. Gebogan, an arrangement of agricultural produce symbolizing gratitude, prosperity, and harmony, was brought to life through the participants’ culturally meaningful creations. The activity celebrated Bali’s cultural heritage while providing a space to strengthen connections within the community.

As one of Bali’s cultural icons, the Kecak Dance added to the festivities at Danamon Matsuri 2026, held at the Danamon Hayam Wuruk Branch Office in Denpasar. Known for the harmony of its movements and the rhythmic chanting of its performers, the Kecak Dance represents the values of togetherness, unity, and collaboration passed down through generations. The performance formed part of Danamon’s efforts to create an experience that brings culture and communities together in one celebration.

As a form of Japanese cultural heritage that embodies spirit, discipline, and togetherness, Taiko offered visitors an authentic cultural experience while reinforcing the theme “Bridging Japan and Bali Through Culture, Community & Opportunity.”
