The five entities have once again collaborated as One Financial Group together with IGNITE to organize the Women Mentorship Program Batch 2.
This mentoring program is a clear demonstration of Danamon’s and the MUFG Group ecosystem’s ongoing commitment to implementing the values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), while also strengthening the development of women’s leadership competencies to cultivate more qualified women leaders in the future.
Evi Damayanti, Chief Human Capital & Operations Officer of Danamon, stated, “Developing women leaders requires more than just opportunities, but also support and direct learning from leaders who have already walked that journey. Through the Women Mentorship Program Batch 2, we aim to once again provide a platform for women leaders to gain insights, expand their networks, and develop leadership competencies that will support them in taking on more strategic roles in the future.
Women Mentorship Program Batch 2 Reflects Danamon's Continued Commitment to Advancing Women Leadership
Nobuya Kawasaki, President Director of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”), delivers the opening remarks at the Women Mentorship Program Batch 2. The program is part of the ongoing commitment of Danamon, MUFG, Adira Finance, Zurich, and Home Credit Indonesia to support the development of women’s leadership through learning, collaboration, and mentoring with experienced women leaders. The continuation of this program reflects that the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) values does not stop at a single initiative but rather forms part of the company’s long-term efforts to develop talent and prepare future women leaders to support the company’s sustainability.
Women Mentorship Program Batch 2 Enriches Cross-Industry Women Leadership Perspectives
One of the key strengths of the Women Mentorship Program Batch 2 is the opportunity for participants to gain learning and insights from women leaders with diverse experiences and perspectives across the banking and financial services industries within the MUFG Group ecosystem. Through the involvement of mentors from Danamon, MUFG, Adira Finance, Zurich, Home Credit Indonesia, and IGNITE, the program provides a wide range of insights on leadership, career development, industry dynamics, challenges, as well as opportunities within each respective sector.
More than just a mentoring program, the Women Mentorship Program Batch 2 serves as a platform for collaboration that further strengthens cooperation among entities within the MUFG Group. Through exposure to various business backgrounds and leadership experiences, the dozens of female leaders from across the MUFG Group who participate in the program are expected to develop a more holistic perspective, expand their professional networks, and prepare themselves to take on greater leadership roles in the future.
