Danamon Launches DIVE - Chapter Youth to Introduce Banking Careers to Employees’ Children
Jakarta, 29 June 2026 -As part of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk’s (“Danamon”) commitment to fostering a family-friendly workplace that supports work–life balance, Danamon introduces DIVE (Danamon Immersive Visit & Exploration) – Chapter Youth. The program is part of the DAYATARA (Danamon Berdaya Mengusung Kesetaraan) initiative, reflecting the bank’s ongoing implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles.
Leveraging the school holiday period, the program offers an opportunity for Danamon employees’ children—aged 13–18 (junior and senior high school students) to gain closer exposure to the banking industry. The initiative also aims to equip the younger generation with a foundational understanding of the professional world while broadening their career perspectives. The program was conducted in 4 batches on 22–23 June 2026 at Menara Bank Danamon, Jakarta.
Through an experiential learning approach, participants are invited to explore Danamon’s products, services, and digital applications. The program also provides exposure to the bank’s vision, mission, values, employee value proposition, and various job functions across the bank. A key highlight of the program is an office tour designed as a mission-based exploration, complemented by a “Junior Banking Passport” to boost engagement. Participants also take part in interactive sessions such as Career in Danamon and AI for Daily Life and Future Career, aimed at broadening their understanding of future career opportunities. Financial literacy forms an integral part of the program, encouraging participants to develop prudent financial habits as smart savers from an early age. This is further reinforced through collaborative activities and engaging games that actively involve participants.
Evi Damayanti, Chief Human Capital and Operations Officer of Danamon, said, “At Danamon, we believe that supporting a balance between work and family life is essential to fostering a healthy and productive workplace. Through the DIVE – Chapter Youth program, we aim to provide a meaningful experience that not only introduces the banking industry to the younger generation, but also strengthens engagement between the Company, employees, and their families. We hope that this interactive early learning experience will equip participants with broader insights into the world of work—particularly in the banking sector, while also building their confidence and readiness to plan their future careers.”
As a financial institution that places strong emphasis on human capital development, Danamon continues to introduce initiatives that support the creation of an inclusive and sustainable workplace. Through the DIVE – Chapter Youth program, Danamon promotes early awareness of career opportunities in the banking industry among school-age participants, while also providing Danamon employee’s children with greater insight into the professional environment in which their parents work. Family involvement is a key element of the program, helping to foster employee pride and engagement, while strengthening the relationship between the company and employees’ families.
This commitment is reflected not only in employee development initiatives, but also in various efforts to deliver added value for employees’ families and future generations. Going forward, Danamon will continue to strengthen its role in nurturing a generation that is adaptive, well-informed, and prepared to navigate the evolving dynamics of the workplace.
