Mudik Bareng Danamon Brings a More Blissful Ramadan

Jakarta, 18 March 2026 – The tradition of homecoming for Eid – known as mudik - remains the pinnacle of the Ramadan joy for many Indonesians. The journey back to one’s hometown, reuniting with family, and sharing happiness with relatives is a moment eagerly awaited throughout the year. Completing its #RamadanLebihBerkah program series, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”), in collaboration with RTV, one of Indonesia’s leading television stations, presents the Mudik Bareng Danamon program as part of the Bank’s commitment to accompany the Indonesian people in celebrating the special moments of Ramadan 1447 H. Through Mudik Bareng Danamon, selected customers receive free-of-charge homecoming facilities to support a smoother and safer journey ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.

Ivan Jaya, Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head of Danamon, explained, “Ramadan is always a special moment for the Indonesian people. Understanding the importance of this period, Danamon seeks to bridge needs and provide practical solutions by presenting the Mudik Bareng Danamon program, while at the same time introducing the convenience of transactions through D-Bank PRO. We would like to thank RTV for its support in realizing this joint homecoming program, as well as all participants who are taking part. We hope that all participants can enjoy a smooth journey, arrive safely at their destinations, and be joyfully reunited with their beloved families.”

The Mudik Bareng Danamon initiative is offered to employees of Danamon’s corporate clients who use Danamon’s payroll solution, as well as selected Danamon employees, who have conducted at least three financial transactions via D-Bank PRO with a minimum value of Rp10,000 per transaction during the period from 20-27 February 2026.

In implementing this initiative, Danamon also collaborates with its strategic partners, PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk and PT Home Credit Indonesia, to broaden the reach of benefits by providing opportunities for employees of both partner companies to participate in the homecoming program by conducting financial transactions in accordance with applicable terms and conditions. PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk also provides support in the form of Personal Accident Insurance to provide protection for all Mudik Bareng Danamon participants throughout the trip. In addition to serving as a benefits program for Danamon customers who utilize the payroll solution, the mechanism of this initiative is designed to encourage the use of D-Bank PRO in everyday transaction activities, while at the same time providing appreciation to loyal customers who actively use Danamon’s digital services.

The homecoming participants depart today to two main destinations, Solo and Yogyakarta. To ensure a comfortable journey, Danamon provided six buses serving three different routes. This variety of routes was designed to offer flexibility according to participants’ final destinations and to support an even distribution of passengers for a smooth and pleasant trip.

Andreas Kurniawan, Chief Digital Officer of Danamon, added, “This mudik bareng initiative carries two positive purposes. On one hand, it provides social benefits for those who may need assistance on their homecoming journey, especially amid rising transportation costs ahead of the holidays, while also promoting financial literacy and inclusion through the use of D-Bank PRO for daily transactions so that customers can experience the convenience of Danamon’s digital banking services. On the other hand, this initiative also serves as a form of benefit that Danamon offers to its loyal customers, particularly corporate clients who utilize Danamon’s payroll solutions to support their business operations.”

This initiative is also aligned with Danamon’s vision to continue innovating and providing a better, easier, and more accessible banking experience that is integrated into the daily lives of Indonesians, especially during important moments such as the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
