Reflecting on the performance of the Consumer Banking Credit Card business in Makassar, Danamon has recorded positive achievements. As of the first semester of 2024, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the number of Credit Card users in Makassar increased by 20%, transaction value grew by over 12%, and transactions rose by approximately 51%.
Recognizing the positive performance in the Makassar region, Danamon sees Makassar as a city with great potential to grow alongside Danamon. This commitment was previously realized through the DXPO by Danamon Makassar 2024 event, held at Trans Studio Mall Makassar from 22-25 August 2024, as part of Danamon’s 68th anniversary celebration. Moving forward, Danamon aims to continue this commitment as a continuous effort. One such initiative is offering attractive credit card promotions, including those in the F&B category, to pamper customers in Makassar or those visiting the city.
Therefore, Danamon is offering a 20% discount promotion at Daiki, Kai Sushi, and Shabuqi restaurants to Credit Card and Charge Card holders with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB logos. This promotion runs until 30 September 2024 and is part of an effort to boost Credit Card business performance in Makassar, with double-digit growth expected to continue through the end of 2024.
