DANAMON ANNOUNCES QUARTER III-2023 FINANCIAL RESULTS

Jakarta, October 30, 2023 - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk ("Danamon" or "Bank") today disclosed its Third Quarter (Q3) 2023 financial performance results.

Danamon reported a consolidated Net Profit After Taxes (NPAT) of Rp2.6 trillion for the first nine months of 2023. Net Interest Margin (NIM) successfully grew by 26 basis points (bps) Year-on-Year (YoY) with Operating Income increased by 7% YoY to Rp13.3 trillion.

Total Loan and Trade Finance grew by 18% YoY, accounted for Rp166.2 trillion supported by stronger loan growth in all business segments. The biggest contributors of loan portfolio were the Enterprise Banking & Financial Institution segment, accounted to Rp75.6 trillion, grew by 14% YoY followed by Financing from PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk. (Adira Finance) —a subsidiary of Danamon— accounted to Rp52.8 trillion, grew by 26% YoY. Adira Finance’s new financing grew by 39% YoY. Consumer loan achieved the highest growth rate at 31% YoY to Rp15.3 trillion, while SME Loans showed a 10% YoY growth.

Amidst a high interest rate environment, Danamon maintained its Granular Funding to increase by 9% YoY. 

Danamon balanced its high loan growth with strong asset quality management. This is reflected by the Bank’s Loan at Risk (LAR) (include Covid-19 restructure under forbearance) ratio that was managed down to 12.3%, improved by 190 bps YoY. New billers added includes PBB, PDAM, Insurances, Games, TV Streaming.
