Held DXPO by Danamon, Danamon Affirms Commitment to Be a One Stop Financial Solution Provider

Jakarta, 20 July 2023 – Commemorating the 67th anniversary, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk ("Danamon") presented DXPO by Danamon which will be held on 20-23 July 2023. With the theme GROWING TOGETHER, which is also the theme for this year's anniversary, Danamon is holding a DXPO to showcase the company's various product, service, and channel capabilities; and reaffirmed its commitment to become a one-stop financial solution provider for all of the financial needs of both retail, SME and corporate customers.

Danamon's Value Proposition as a Local Bank with Global Capability

Ejima added that Danamon occupies a unique position as a hybrid bank with a strong local presence and knowledge, combined with global capabilities and networks through the MUFG ecosystem. MUFG, as Danamon's holding company, is one of the world's leading financial services groups with a global network of around 2,100 locations in more than 50 markets. As a unit, MUFG, Danamon and Adira Finance have made many acquisitions to expand the ecosystem. Among other things, MUFG has made an investment in AkuLaku, in addition to their previous investment in Grab. Krungsi and Adira signed an agreement to acquire Home Credit Indonesia, Danamon and MUFG invested in Garuda Fund, Indonesia's focused venture capital fund, Danamon signed an agreement to acquire Standard Chartered Indonesia's consumer banking portfolio and finally, MUFG and Adira agreed to acquire Mandala Finance.
