Bank Danamon Supports PT Toyota Housing Indonesia In Home Ownership Financing

Jakarta, 30 October 2018. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Bank Danamon) today officially forms a partnership to disburse housing loans with PT Toyota Housing Indonesia, a property company owned by Toyota Housing Corporation Ltd, one of Japan’s prominent developers. This strategic partnership is a form of our positive contribution to assist Indonesian families to own affordable and quality housing.

This initiative is also expected to support the growth of Bank Danamon’s consumer mortgage business, which has grown 35% in the first nine months of 2018 as compared to a year ago.

This partnership between Bank Danamon and Toyota Housing Indonesia is a result of collaborative work by MUFG Bank Jakarta Branch (MUFG) and Bank Danamon. MUFG is one of the world’s largest financial groups, enabling Bank danamon to tap into its financial strengths, leveraging its relations with large global Japanese corporations, wide network as well as product and business expertise to support the Bank’s growth and commitment to stakeholders and employees.

PT Toyota Housing Indonesia is a subsidiary of Toyota Housing Corporation Ltd, a prominent developer from Japan with over 100,000 houses built. The company’s first housing project is Sakura Regency 3 in Jatimulya, Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency. Toyota Housing’s residential compound consists of 114 units out of 457 units that are developed in collaboration with PT Tokyo Land Indonesia. The units developed are earthquake, leak, and heat resistant with two years guarantee. The units also adopt Japanese technology. In addition, the construction process is short, so the units can be handed over to homeowners swiftly.
