Danamon Run 2017 First in Indonesia, Fredom to Choose Your Finish Line while Running

Jakarta, 12 July 2017. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) today announced the ‘Danamon Run’, which will be held on Sunday, 10 September 2017. Danamon Run with a start time of 05.30 AM at Pantai Festival Beach, Ancol Taman Impian, North Jakarta. Registration has been opened since May 2017, and the event has since received positive response from the public and running communities in Indonesia, as it features a unique concept.

Danamon features a pioneering concept that is the first of its kind in Indonesia where participating runners are given the freedom to choose their finish line after starting their runs. This choice of finish lines consist of 3 Km, 5 Km, 7 Km, 10 Km and 15 Km. These five finish options are open for all participants, from the experienced runners, to families and novice runners. Runners can also participate as individuals or as groups. Danamon run is limited to 3,500 runners and offers more than IDR 400 million in prizes.

All participants will receive medals from any finish line of their choosing. Additionally, prizes will be given for the fastest runners in each finish line, individually or in groups.

Danamon Chief Marketing Officer Toni Darusman said, “We are grateful and proud to witness the public’s positive response for this event. This is reflected by the euphoria generated by the early bird registration in which tickets were sold in a matter of hours. Currently, around 2,400 tickets have been sold. We hope that Danamon Run can inspire the public to take control of their health.”  

Danamon Run is also supported by running communities in Jakarta and other cities. These communities will participate in this event.

Danamon Run will be held in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol where the route will start and finish at Festival Beach. The 3 Km route will take runners to Ancol Lake and Atlantis Water Adventure, while the 5 Km route will take runners to Amusement Park Beach Pool and Ancol Mansion. For the 7 Km route, runners will pass by Ocean Dream Samudra Ancol, Seaworld Ancol and the Art Market. For experienced runners, the 10 Km and 15 Km  routes are designed to test their stamina. The 10 Km route will circle the Ancol Gong and traverse the Art Market. Sedangkan rute The 15 Km route will reach Ancol Beach City Mall, Segarra, as well as Eco Park and the Marina.

Danamon customers who wish to participate in Daanmon Run are entitled to special ticket prices for the individual category, 2 persons group, and 4 persons group. Meanwhile, for non Danamon customers the normal prices apply for each category. For the individual category, the prices in offer are IDR 80,000 (Customers) and IDR 150,000 (Non-Customers). For the 2 persons group category, the prices are IDR 130.000/Group (Customers) and IDR 250,000/Group (Non-Customers). For the 4 persons group category, the prices are IDR 220,000/Group (Customers) and IDR 400,000/Group (Non-Customers).
