Jakarta, 20 June 2017 – PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Danamon) launched a credit card bill payment service that enables Danamon credit card holders to settle their bills through other banks’ digital and ATM services in real time. This service applies to bill payment below IDR 25 million for Danamon Visa and Mastercard credit cards. This service serves to add convenience for around 1 million Danamon credit card holders in managing their financial transactions.
“This latest feature offer more options and flexibility for Danamon card holders in credit card payment. Real time bill payment is needed, so the credit card holders’ limit will be readjusted once the bill is settled. This allows the credit card holders to perform transactions without the constraints imposed by the limit. Without this feature, credit card limit readjustment is generally done one working day after the bill is settled,” Djamin Nainggolan, Danamon Consumer Lending Head.
Real Time Payment
Danamon credit card holders only need to open the “Transfer to other bank” option in other banks’ mobile banking, internet banking, and ATMs. After inputting Danamon’s bank code (011), Danamon credit card holder would then input their 16 digits credit card number. The bill payment will be settled in real time after inputting the bill due nominal.
“This new feature enables Danamon credit card holders to pay in real time, which is helpful during the holiday season and to avoid late fees,” added Djamin.
