Save as much as Rp161,000 at Shopee’s 11.11 Big Sale

These general terms and conditions (Program General Terms and Conditions) refer to applicable terms and conditions for Bank Danamon customers who avail of Rp161,000 savings when shopping at Shopee’s 11.11 Big Sale (Program), organized by PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (Bank Danamon) in collaboration with Shopee merchant partners.


The Program is valid from 15 October 2023 until 12 November 2023 (Program Period).

  1. The Program applies to Bank Danamon customers with the following type of cards (Cardholders): Bank Danamon Debit Mastercard, and Credit and Charge Cards bearing the Visa, Mastercard, JCB or American Express logo, but excludes corporate type cards (Cards).
  2. All Cardholders are required to read and understand the Program General Terms and Conditions.
  3. Bank Danamon has the right to disallow or cancel the Cardholder's participation in this Program if he/she fails to fulfill its General Terms and Conditions.
  4. The Cardholder bears full responsibility for all risks of loss, demands, suits and/or claims in connection with his/her participation and/or cancellation of participation in this Program.
  5. The discount program has the following terms and conditions:
    • Teaser Program: discount amounting to Rp 131,000 (One Hundred Thirty One Thousand Rupiah) based on a minimum transaction worth Rp 1,711,000 (One Million Seven Hundred Eleven Thousand Rupiah). Quota applies for each type of Card, as follows:
      • Quota of 42 (forty two) /day for Danamon Visa, Mastercard and JCB Credit Cards, using promo code DNMKKBIG, valid for either full or installment payment transactions;
      • Quota of 13 (thirteen)/day for Danamon American Express Credit Cards and Charge Cards, using promo code DNMAMEXBIG, valid for either full or installment payment transactions;
      • Quota of 8 (eight)/day for Danamon Mastercard Debit Card, using promo code: DNMDBBIG, valid for full payment transactions.
    • Throughout the entire duration of the Program Period, the teaser program is valid any day, except on 11 November 2023.
    • Peak Program: discount amounting to Rp 161,000 (One Hundred Sixty One Thousand Rupiah) based on a minimum transaction worth Rp 1,911,000 (One Million Nine Hundred Eleven Thousand Rupiah). Quota applies for each type of card as follows:
      • Quota of 99 (ninety nine)/day for Danamon Visa, Mastercard and JCB Credit Cards, using promo code DNMKK1111, valid for either full or installment payment transactions;
      • Quota of 32 (thirty two)/day for Danamon American Express Credit Cards and Charge Cards, using promo code DNMAMEX1111, valid for either full or installment payment transactions;
      • Quota of 21 (twenty one)/day for Danamon Mastercard Debit Card, using promo code DNMDB1111, valid for full payment transactions.
    • The Peak Program is valid only for one day, particularly on 11 November 2023.
  6. The Program does not apply in multiples.
  7. The Program applies to either principal or supplementary cards. 
  8. The Program applies to transactions performed via the Shopee application.
  9. The Program does not apply to purchases in the following categories:
    • Vouchers (Phone load, Data, Gaming, Travel and Tour, Shopping, Event Tickets);
    • Refill (Phone top-up, Data Package, e-Money, Roaming);
    • Bills (PLN Electricity, BPJS, Telkom, PDAM, Post-paid, Credit Installments);
    • Transportation Tickets (Train, Plane, Bus);
    • Entertainment (Game Vouchers, Nearby Deals, Event Tickets and Entertainment); and
    • Donations and financial assistance (Donations, Zakat, Capital Loans).
  10. The Program is valid only for one (1) user account/card/day/transaction.
  11. Throughout the Program Period, the Program is valid from 10:00 to 22:00 WIB. 
  12. The Program applies to purchases using Shopee-supported delivery services.
  13. Shopee has the right to cancel the discount, or if necessary, cancel the transaction or freeze the account, if there are any reported indications of the user’s improper use of the promo code.
  14. Bank Danamon has the right to cancel if Cardholder fails to comply with the Program General Terms and Conditions.
  15. The Program cannot be combined with other programs and/or promotions.
  16. The installment program is applicable under the following terms and conditions:
    • a 0% (zero percent) installment is valid with tenors of 3, 6 and 12 months on Shopee basaed on a minimum transaction worth Rp 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Rupiah);
    • Valid any day throughout the Program Period;
    • Valid for either principal or supplementary Cardholders;
    • Bank Danamon will charge an administration fee amounting to IDR 15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Rupiah) for every transaction that is converted into installments. 
    • Any transaction converted into installments will not be entitled to earn D-Points or Membership Rewards Points.
    • The process of submitting an installment conversion should be done directly upon performing online transaction. Ensure that no other conversion has been done or submitted via other channels (e.g. SMS, e-mail).
  17. Once the Cardholder performs transactions in accordance with the Program General Terms and Conditions, he/she is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to participate in the Program and is subject to its General Terms and Conditions. The transactions performed by the Cardholder serve as valid proof of his/her participation in the Program and agreement to comply with its General Terms and Conditions.
  1. The merchant’s products, services and/or discounts in this Program are entirely the responsibility of the merchant partner, not of Bank Danamon. If there are problems and/or complaints regarding these products, services and/or savings, please contact the corresponding merchant partner directly.
  2. The Cardholder declares that current and future transactions have no indications of money laundering and/or other similar activities that are prohibited under Indonesia’s laws and regulations.
  3. If there are reported indications of fraud, deceit and/or transaction irregularities, Bank Danamon has the right to cancel the transaction or disallow installments to the Cardholder.
  4. The Cardholder agrees that Bank Danamon has the right to cancel his/her participation in this Program if he/she fails to fulfill its General Terms and Conditions.
  5. Other terms and conditions related to banking products and/or services, as long as those are not regulated differently in the Program General Terms and Conditions, are declared to remain valid and binding on the Cardholder and shall become an inseparable part of the Program General Terms and Conditions.
  6. The Program General Terms and Conditions form an integral and inseparable part of the "General Terms and Conditions for PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk Accounts and Banking Services", "General Terms and Conditions for Danamon Debit/ATM Cards", "General Terms and Conditions for Danamon Credit Card Membership” and “General Terms and Conditions for Membership of Danamon American Express Credit Card and Charge Card”. These terms and conditions remain valid as long as those are not regulated otherwise in the Program General Terms and Conditions.
  7. The Cardholder hereby agrees and acknowledges that Bank Danamon has the right to revise/amend/update the Program General Terms and Conditions. Any changes/amendments/updates to the Program General Terms and Conditions will be notified via Bank Danamon’s available communication media. In case of changes to the benefits, risks, costs, terms and conditions based on the Program General Terms and Conditions, the Cardholder has the right to submit a written objection to Bank Danamon within 30 (thirty) working days upon notification of the change by Bank Danamon through its available communication media. The Cardholder agrees that Bank Danamon will consider his/her agreement to the changes if he/she fails to submit an objection within that time period. If the Cardholder disagrees with those changes, he/she has the right to cancel participation in the Program by first completing all his/her obligations to Bank Danamon (if any).
  8. Cardholders and/or cardholder representatives can submit verbal or written complaints regarding banking transactions/services through the nearest Bank Danamon branch office, Hello Danamon (1-500-090) or email at hellodanamon@danamon.co.id.

  10. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, which is a member of the Deposit Insurance Corporation, is licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority.
  11. These General Terms and Conditions follow the provisions of laws and regulations including those of the Financial Services Authority regulations.
     

    REMINDER
    Cardholders must take necessary precautions against fraud committed by unauthorized individuals acting on behalf of Bank Danamon who promise rewards in any form. All forms of fraud or other criminal and deceitful acts committed by other parties/third parties associated with or on behalf of the Program are beyond the authority of Bank Danamon.
