Providing the Danamon Lebih Experience to University Students Through High-Tech Games

PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk. (Danamon) today launched ‘Danamon Lebih Goes to Campus’, which is an educational and fun campaign targeted towards students from ten prominent universities in the greater Jakarta area. The campaign, which is launched in the Economic Faculty of the University of Indonesia, Depok, uses a bus that is equipped with unique and high-tech games, allowing university students to receive information on Danamon Lebih and its benefits through fun and interactive means.

“This campaign is intended to provide an experience for students in regards to saving, through an interactive simulation of our savings products, Danamon Lebih. By living this experience, students can hopefully realize how easy it is to open a savings account as well as the benefits that go with it. Through this campaign, we ask students to save early, ensuring a strong financial future,” said Michellina Triwardhany, Consumer Banking Director, Danamon.

The 20-day long campaign is held in 10 prominent universities in the greater Jakarta region, including University of Indonesia, Pelita Harapan University, Trisakti University, and many more leading universities.

“Danamon LEBIH is an ideal product for students who want to know more about the benefits provided by a bank savings product. As an example, Danamon LEBIH does not only offer a variety of features and facilities that can be used during transactions such as debit card usage and cashback, free transfer to Danamon Online Banking internet banking service, free cash withdrawal in all of ATM Bersama/ALTO ATM networks, but it also provides benefits that are valued at around Rp 1 million every year. Therefore, students should have no more obstacles in opening up a savings account,” said Djoemingin Budiono, Head of Marketing, Retail Banking, Danamon.

During the ‘Danamon LEBIH Goes to Campus’ campaign, students can visit a bus that are strategically placed in their campus to receive information on Danamon LEBIH. Through interactive and technologically state-of-the art platforms, such as games about Danamon LEBIH that uses motion sensor tracking and audio visual facilities that featured three dimensional pictures and sounds, students who visit the bus can have a first-hand experience in having a Danamon LEBIH savings account and its benefits.

“With this fun and interactive campaign, we hope that students can receive comprehensive information on savings products and use this information to make informed decisions on saving. This can help them in managing their finance in the future,” said Djoemingin Budiono.

“Furthermore, we hope that ‘Danamon LEBIH Goes to Campus’ can increase Danamon’s funding, which at the end of 2012 reached Rp 91.7 trillion and continue the growth of the Bank’s current and savings accounts’ (CASA), which grew by 22% last year compared to in 2011,” said Michellina Triwardhany.
