Edwin van der Sar Meets the Winner of Danamon Manchester United Card’s Red Match Sweepstake

8 Debit/ATM Card Holders and 5 Credit Card Holders Will Witness Their Favourite Club in Old Trafford, England

(”Danamon”), as the exclusive license holder for Manchester United cards in Indonesia, today announced the winners of the first round of the Red Match 2012 sweepstake, consisting of 8 debit/ATM card holders and 5 credit card holders, who will witness their favourite club, Manchester United, play at Old Trafford, England. The winners’ announcement was attended by Manchester United’s legendary goalkeeper, Edwin van der Sar, who, at the same event, met with Manchester United Credit and Debit/ATM card holders. Edwin van der Sar’s presence and the Red Match sweepstake is part of Danamon’s commitment to bring Manchester United fans closer with their favourite club and provide a money can’t buy experience for its customers.

The Red Match sweepstake provides opportunity to 48 (forty-eight) Danamon Manchester United Credit and Debit/ATM card holders per year to witness firsthand a Manchester United football match in Old Trafford, England, and attend a series of special session such as football training session with the club’s coaches, meet the players, visit players’ changing rooms, participate in stadium/museum tour.    

“Today is the announcement of the first of four Red Match sweepstake periods. 8 Danamon Manchester United debit/ATM card holders and 5 Danamon Manchester United credit card holders  will be flown to Old Trafford in this first period. The sweepstake drawing was conducted on 13 June 2012 and was witnessed and approved by a notary,” said Michellina Triwardhany, Consumer Banking Director, Danamon.
 
Danamon Manchester United Card holders can exchange their drawing points that they earned to enter the Red Match sweepstake. Debit/ATM card holders can earn 1 (one) drawing point for every Rp500,000 in their monthly account statements, while both Debit/ATM and credit card holders can earn a drawing point for every Rp100,000 in transactions.       

Besides Red Match, the Danamon Manchester United Card also provides Red Rewards and Red Hot Deals features. In Red Rewards, cardholders can earn points through transactions that later can be redeemed towards airfare tickets (through mileage program) that enable customers to travel to Old Trafford and other destinations. Red Reward points can also be redeemed with variety of original Manchester United merchandises such as signed jersey, scarves, cap, backpack and other shopping vouchers, while Red Hot Deals provides various attractive and special offers at café, sport shops, apparel, futsal arena, and other selected merchants.
